This newly remodeled 1960’s bungalow is the perfect getaway for couples and families alike. Located right on Gardiner’s Bay, there’s a gorgeous view of the water from the large windows and front porch. From the front steps you can follow the 300 yard path to your own private beach where you can wade, swim, snorkel, paddleboard, or just enjoy the amazing view and salt air. The Bungalow itself is a cozy, bright beach house sitting on pilings eight feet above the sand. With two bedrooms, one-and-a-half-baths, a full kitchen, plenty of seating, and glorious natural light pouring through the many windows, this quaint home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

The Bungalow is located on Gerard Drive—a mile-and-a-half stretch of woods, bay, protected marshes, and the Acabonac Harbor. Known for its serenity, seclusion, and natural beauty, the Gerard Drive peninsula is a coveted place to walk, bike, and observe wildlife. If you’d like to spend an afternoon in town, the iconic restaurants and shops of East Hampton are just a fifteen minute drive away. While there, you can also visit the Hook Mill, Mulford Farm, or many other local attractions.

The place was simple, clean, and well-organized. We found everything we needed. The location on the beach is beautiful. Sitting on that rock chair and looking at the horizon was so peaceful, and the sunrises were stunning. Our family truly enjoyed the stay and would love to come back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. The location was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous, with stunning sunrises over the bay and picture-perfect sunsets every evening. This part of Springs is so secluded and idyllic, but still close enough to great restaurants, coffee shops, farmers markets, and the villages of EH and Amagansett. The house itself was bright, sunny, and beautifully decorated, with every amenity we could have needed. Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella — it made our beach days effortless. Communication with the host was excellent as well; they were always friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Overall, this was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we can’t wait to return!

My family had a wonderful stay at the Charming Bungalow. This was our second summer at the house in East Hampton, and it was even more magical this time around. The location is unbeatable, steps to Gardiner's Bay, and the house is one of the best-equipped homes we've rented. Our hosts were super-responsive, very accommodating, and made sure that all our needs were met. We already miss looking out at the water in the morning and watching the moon rise from the deck at night... This place is an absolute gem!

From start to finish, the host was exceptional—always responsive, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their communication was consistent and caring, which made the entire experience even better. The house itself is beautiful—immaculately clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need and more. It was stocked with all the essentials (and extras), so we never had to worry about anything. Loved my stay here! It's in a great location down a beautiful road and has a gorgeous view. The house was cozy and comfortable, and just the right size. The kitchen was well stocked (but bring your own oils if you plan on cooking!), and the beach towels and chairs were really helpful to have. Communication from the host was always quick and helpful as well. Would highly recommend this place, and am hoping to return someday!
